Let’s talk about you and me!
So, if you recall, part of my overall financial goals included paying off my debt. This includes both consumer debt (i.e. credit cards) and student loans.
My student loan payments are currently on the back burner because I just can’t afford the payments, right now. But it is the next step in my complete debt repayment plan.
But right now, my main focus is tackling my consumer debt. My consumer debt consists of my remaining credit card AND a small personal loan:
As of today, I managed to pay off approximately $350 on my personal loan. I have a remainder of $297 to pay off. The plan is to make a monthly payment of $50 a month, until it is finito. It will be paid off completely in six months. I COULD make higher payments, more than once a month, and pay it off sooner. But nah. Only because I’m only charged interest on my debt if my payment is late.
As far as my credit card, I currently owe almost $1,500!!!
Yea. Pray for me. I went a little overboard in the TREAT YO’SELF department.
But that’s over with. I’m paying that off ASAPTUALLY, because this card DOES carry interest. So, currently I throw any extra coins at it, that I can.
Alright guise! Let’s get it!
What debt do you currently have? What is your goal for conquering it? Let me know if the comments!
